As we celebrate the most Holy weekend of the Christian calendar, I am reminded of a strange event one Sunday morning during Communion.  There sitting three seats down, dressed in all white, was a woman excited about the praise and worship but refused to partake in Communion.  This thought and others like it was the birth of the Communion Journal.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. -John 6:54-58(KJV)

Christ made it clear, we must “eat” and “drink” to have eternal life and dwell in him!  Jesus spoke a spiritual truth. If we are to live victoriously in this life we must partake of Christ as often as our body, mind, and soul needs a spiritual reminder of who we are in Christ Jesus.  Join the Dovelight Ministry family this month as we abide in Christ revealing the promises: health (Isaiah 53:4-6), peace (Isaiah 53:5), and rest (Isaiah 53:12,Matthew 11:28-30) of Communion. As we partake of the cup our focus should never be on sin, but on the eternal power of Christ! Experience, the intimacy of a private and the fellowship of public Communion.  In the month of April Dovelight Ministry will use the Communion Journal (click Amazon link) to strengthen our study as we empty our heart in the journal and partake in a guided time of private Communion.
